The Legend of Pra Ruesi Paetchalugam - Taep Ruesi (Deva Ruesi) of superpowers

Ruesi Paetchalugam is rather less known than many other ruesi, such as Por Gae Thai Fai, or Ruesi Dta Wua.Although his presence is often to be noted at Wai Kroo (Master Day) Ceremonies/Festivals, many people in general do not know the origins nor the meaning of who and what Pra paetchalugam represents.Many magickal tomes and Thai occult legends refer to this Ruesi Deity, but it is extremely difficult to decipher what particular role he played. The same can be said about ruesi Narot. Although  their names are often called out at many Wai Kroo ceremony, not often is it understood what they represent and who they are.It is almost completely unknown tha Ruesi Paetchalugam is indeed a manifestation of  "Pra Wisawagam'  (Visavagama - พระวิศวกรรม)  Lord of bestowing , giving and of protection. In the grimoire "Bucha Duriyataep" (Pooja Duriyadeva), the following is said of Pra Ruesi paetchalugam;

Pra Wisawagam has many names:- Pra Wisanugham (พระวิศณุกรรม), Pra Waes Sugam (พระเวสสักรรม)

Pra Wissugam (พระวิสสุกรรม) and Pra Ruesi Paetchalugam (พระฤษีเพชณฉลูกรรม) 

All these names refer to the same being, but the name Pra Ruesi paetchalugam has always been most commonly used in Occult & Magickal circles. Pra Wisawagam is considered to be the master engineer/technician  of the Angelic realms, under the supervision of "Pra Intr" (Indra - พระอินทร์).There is another manifestation in "Prohm" (Brahmic level of heaven - ชั้นพรหม), known as Pra Wisawaprohm (พระวิศวพรหม).Musicians and performance artists consider Pra Ruesi Paetchalugam/Wisawagam to be a Guru Deva (Kroo taep - ครูเทพ) of music. This could be due to the fact that Pra paetchalugam was creator of things beautiful and also creator of various musical instruments, constantly making wonderful and beautiful things appear in the world.

In India's ancient lore, Pra Ruesi paetchalugam/Pra Wisawagam was invoked (created) by "Pra Isworn" (พระอิศวร) or, Shiva (Pra Siwa - ระศิวะ), as the deity is otherwise known. He was then appointed to be the official  engineer/technician for "Pra Intr" (Indra).

Another story tells that Pra Wisawagam is the royal son of Prapas (Prapasa - ประภาส)ใ Prapas was the giver of  light/brightness/luminosity..creator of the light. Prapas was one of the eight Vasudevas (wasutep in Thai - วสัเทพ).

The Vasudevas were the entourage of Pra Intr/Indra Ruesi Paetchalugam is normally depicted with green skin.Pra Intr is always depicted with green skin, and this is probably indicative of the Clan-relationship between Pra Wisawagam/paetchalugam & Pra Intr/Indra. Pra Wisawagam had a consort (femal concubine, known as Chaya in Thai if referring to a royal  or sacred person), but it is not recorded what her name was.All that is know as to descendants is that he had a princess  Daughter by the name of Sanya (Sanya means promise in Thai). Pra Ruesi Wisawagam/Paetchalugam is known to have had a female emanation too.This female ruesi/deity, is known as Naang Nilabanpot, and she is the guardian protector of tailors ans seamstresses, the sewing industry. She is mentioned in part of the orations for Wai Kroo (master day) of people in the engineering/machinist trade. อนึ่งไซร้ข้าพเจ้าขอเคารบ นบนางนามปรากฎ นิลบรรพตเทพสุดา กวักมาซึ่งสุวรรณรัตน์ สรรพสมบัติโอฬาร จงจ้างการพิธี
