Ajarn Phu Ruesi Sompit is a practised Ruesi fof High standing and has an extremely respectable trajectory; Ordained as a small child (Samanera) he came under the teachings of two lay masters who were practised in both dhamma, renunciation and also in Sayasart (Buddha Magic). After leaving the ordained sangha, he continued studying under these Lay masters, until later becoming a Bhikkhu (Buddhist Monk) for a period of over 15 seasons (years).

He studied various subjects such as astrology and fortune telling, under many Ajarn in many places, such as Cambodia, and Burma, whilst on Tudong as a Monk.

This was when he was about 20, in this time he met and came under the training of another Ruesi calld Ajarn Put in Petchaburn – he had already studied astrology and spellcasting (Puk sek kata) and other arts with many masters he had met on tudong before, but this Ruesi gave him some very important training leading to Phu Sompit deciding to leave the Ordained Sangha to become a fully ordained Ruesi and practise his Arts more freely without the restrictions of the Buddhist Vinaya
